Ecost has a very good bargain on an NC6000, with 512Mb Ram, 14.1 1024x768, 30GB, 1.4Ghz Centrino, XP Pro and 32Mb Radeon 96000.

This computer is selling for only 800 bucks. I bought one last month (paid 900 bucks) and I am very happy with it. Performance is good, battery life is unbelievable and the computer is solid and light. Although there is no CD-RW or DVD, Ecost ships the notebook with a standart 24x CDROM and a Floppy Drive, which is more than enough for my purposes (and I have an External DVD Writer).
