I shopped eBay for laptops for over three years before buying the one I have now (XPS M1330, w/LED and 8400m for $622). I've learned to spot a lot of scams. I don't see anything that makes me think it's fraud, but the fact he has no recent feedback makes it more likely someone could have hacked into his account and listed a fake listing. But it looks legit enough to consider anyway. I might suggest using Live.com (Microsoft) and using to 20% cashback they offer to find a dealer that has positive recent feedback selling laptops. You'd have to spend more up front (you have to wait 60 days for MS to refund you the 20%), but you'd probably feel better about your purchase. See one of the posts in this forum about how to use Live.com if you want to know about that. (I did it BTW and got $249 off my laptop, although I'm still waiting on the check . . .)

If there's anything else I could help you with, feel free to drop me a PM.

It was a great offer i think i just wanted to note. I as well have shoped a lot on ebay. All i can give you in advice is never by something used or refurbished on ebay unless you get the info right. Other than that sometimes you tend to save a lot of money on ebay buying a computer.
