Try a different browser. I hate to say it, but I don't think these are going to ship. It made front page at slickdeals, and I highly doubt buy.com has the quantity that they are selling. I was even able to add 999 of these units to my cart and make it to the last page of the checkout process.

Doesn't hurt to try though, just don't get your hopes too high .

The P6831/60 series are. My guess is these are units returned to GW, and cleaned up, repaired and then sold cheap to Buy.com.

I had that happen when I jumped on an external enclosure deal. I realized I had set it to ship faster at an extra 5 dollars so I bought a second one quick and it was only 10 minutes after the first order and I couldn't cancel it. I was so use to amazon just letting me cancel all the time.

Well, the suspense is killing me. I did find my confirmation though, for some reason it went into my spam folder. Kinda weird since I buy from Buy.com all the time and the confirmations never go to my spam folder. I feel a little better since I found it but now I guess we'll all have to wait until next week to see anything beyond "sent to warehouse". Anyone have their order ship yet?

still sent to warehouse here too. Used the free shipping (sorta regret that now) but ordered at 0618 EST, shortly after the original post was made here and before the masses started waking up across the country and noticing and spreading the deal to other deal sites and what not.


Still dont know if they will actually go through. Judging by all the posts on various boards, looks like tons of people bought, more then they should have inventory for. The only people that are canceled thus far are people that used paypal. I take that with a HUGE grain of salt cause initially anyways, paypal was not even an option for checkout on the product page, specificly said no paypal which I remember for sure cause that is what I was gunna use, but it did give you the option later in the checkout screens. I chose to go with a card anyways cause of that discrepency. All the paypal people are getting bogus cancellations due to unverified addresses and the like even though most used verified accounts. No one else has reported any cancellations thus far. On top of that, if you look at some of the past killer deals from buy.com on the main deal sites, it looks to be a pretty common thing for status to be sent to warehouse but still ultimately get canceled. Looks like sent to warehouse doesnt really mean shiat when it comes to buy.com.

Average Joe saying his shipped I take with a huge grain of salt also. Thus far he is the ONLY person on the net to report that his has been shipped despite discussions on other boards still being currently active. No offense to average joe, but given the circumstances I dont trust that remark untill I see some proof or others start reporting theirs shipped. With the amount of people actively discussing this deal, it's pretty hard to believe that only 1 person has reported shipping while everyone else is still anxiously in limbo.

Anyways, I hope it ships of course, and excited to see that happen, but at the same time, my faith in that happening is dropping. It wouldnt surprise me a bit to see nothing change for a week or so then bam, everyone get canceled. We'll see.

Yep..mine shipped but something doesn't seem right...Shipping weight on UPS tracking shows 10lbs and gateway site shows Weight 9.2 lbs (14.01 lbs)? Since 14.1 is the original shipping weight what the H happened to the the other 4.1 lbs?

ya, please do. There is a sliver of hope I will see mine tomorow. Tracking says 24th delivery (this is the free shipping too ), but they dont come around here till about 7pm, and I gotta walk out the door at 4:30pm. Gunna get up early and give UPS a call and see if they will pull it from the truck, which i'm not counting on since i've tried unsuccessfully in the past. If that doesnt work, gunna see if they can track the driver down so I can go chasing after him. If that dont work, maybe by some chance in hell they will show up earlier then usual and deliver it before I leave. Otherwise, all I can really do is put a note on my door saying to deliver it to the apartment office and hope they actually do it, otherwise I'm afraid its gunna end up returned to sender before I get back.

But yeah, even though I gotta leave, I'll still have net access, so I want to see what I've got waiting for me when I get back (or missed out on if it gets returned) if I dont get it in my hands before leaving.
