Yea, Open Office has been around and suggested for quite a while, nothing new
I recommend it over Microsoft's office, although on older laptops, the RAM usage may be aggrivating -
version 2 is really an improvement...i have a set of ppts which office 2003 cannot recognise, but openoffice opens the files flawlessly

I like open office alot. But I need grammer check. Sure grammer check is only half accurate. But I still need it. I wish they're was an alternative to Openoffice with a grammer check as well as spell check. Can someone help grant my wish? =)
