This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Just a heads up on promo codes, the fine print says this: The balance amounts presented may show amounts already applied to recent or pending orders which will not be available for new orders
    So I looked at mine today and it still showed the exact balance from a few days ago. I was expecting at least $2.00 less. Very deceptive IMO. this explains why they insist that a payment method is suppled before codes are entered when you order.
