    Just one note, those are based on the 8800m which can fail with those BGA problems.

    The Geforce 8800M series were never considered to be faulty. GPU's based on the G84 and G86 were said to be defective. These would include the Geforce 8400M G/GS/GT, 8600M GS/GT, and the 8700M GT.

    Possible, I would hope that someone selling a GPU as "new" wouldn't lie like that, but it happens.

    Also as he is a Hong Kong based seller, I'd stay away. I'd rather buy an item located in the USA that costs ~$50 more.

    edit: anyone looking for MXM cards cheap should look up the HP model numbers and search them.

    occasionally you'll find a very good deal.
