im having a similar problem deciding...
    looking at F3SA-A2 vs F3SV-X4
    both priced at $999.99
    both have:
    Core 2 Duo T7500(2.20GHz)
    15.4" Wide XGA
    160GB 5400rpm DVD Super Multi

the problem i have run into is that the X4 is originally priced $200 higher than the A2, which i interpret as it being the better model...but from what ive read the A2's ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 is better than the NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GS in the X4, because it has twice the dedicated memory. The A2 also has a 8-in-1 card reader, an extra GB of memory, fingerprint scanner, and wireless N capabilities. Am i missing something here? if anyone has either of these laptops please post some input.

----i think i might have found the reason for the initial price difference at the asus website... they wrote this about the F3SV line:
With build-in-DVB-T (Digital Video Broadcasting-Terrestrial) feature, wireless TV broadcast is possible right out of the notebook. *Please check the availability of this feature on the company website: www.asus.com. Features available may very in each region.

i have never used DVB-T and i wonder if anyone has used it and if it is worth the difference in specs listed above.
