This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    12.1" screen, 3.8 pound notebook. Vista H.P, Intel T2080, 1 GB, 100 GB, DVD-R/W DL, Intel GMA 950. Not bad for less than $350.

    My first desktop tower was an Everex I got from Best Buy in 1995. Has usually been a rebadge of another brand (Avaratec in this instance) and targetted at small and medium business users. Some people complained about a crappy keyboard on this model, but for the price I could live with it...
