    EBay has the 1 tb version for 165 which could be a better deal. I webt ahead and got one.

    Using this comparison the actual performance is a lot like a 970 Evo
    Im comparing it to the identical drive here to my hp ex950 and.... It beats it. So i don't want to overhype it either.
    Upon further review
    A pm981 is the same as a 970 Evo.

    Last generation samsung .

    Still a great deal except when you considwr the newer ones are still a little cheaper and faster.

    I got one for 165 it's a decent deal for people whoblike samsung

    i have to be honest, the sabrent rocket i posted is both faster and cheaper....
    the 1 tb version is at least close.

    I mistakenly thought this was a 980 evo, which is going to be samsungs version of this sabrent rocket with the 6 core cpu.

    but the numbers are off 1 step and that might be called a pm 991
