This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    The Inspiron 6000 is a great computer! I got mine for cheap: $1050 before tax/shipping with the 30% off $1499+ coupon, plus other deals. It retails for about $1700.

    You might eventually get a better deal than this, but Dell's profits have been slipping, so you probably won't see the $750 or 45% off coupons like in the good old days.
