Good deal WingNut but arrrrgh, it's Newegg. I might call Dell and see if they'll match plus a discount because I don't get charged tax from Newegg.

Is the Intel 4000 good for games?

Older Steam games are fine, but the more demanding games from 2011 or 2012 will need to be set to minimum settings for passable frame rates.

The IGP is clocked the same between the ULV i3 and i5, but you'll going to want the i5 because the i3 3217U lacks TurboBoost and is locked at 1.8 GHz, while the 3317U can ramp up to 2.6 GHz. From my limited amount of time with the Duo 11, the i5's extra speed definitely helps with graphics performance.

Its been a while since I looked at the 13z but make sure that you are finding pricing for the ivy bridge one... Dell started selling the lower end model with the sandy bridge which shaved off around $80. 399 for the newer ivy bridge model is pretty darn good if you ask me.

The system scores about a 700 3DMark11 iirc. Not horrible, but not great. Good all around system though for $400.

Looks like it is back up to $500 and down to $450 @ Newegg and still around $600-650 in other retailers.
