I am trying to get my daughter a laptop for college and we've settled on a Dell Studio 15. She would get the EPP through school and we've muddled through the configurations and come up with one. Before we order though, I've been looking to make sure not to miss out on anything. A google search turned up EPP coupon offers in the past. Is that something they still do? Is there any other to get anything other than the EPP 7% and the DPA discount? Thanks in advance.

    Hey there!
This is where your daughter would go to access her Uni's applicable Dell Discount's: http://delllounge.com/delluniversity/

    Or, here for the EPP:
    http://www.dell.com/content/segmenter.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=_eep

You shouldn't have to do a Google search, when all the *applicable discounts* will be under her related Uni's allowed discount ;)

Usually the Dell DPA discount will range between 2 to 4% depending on the purchase! :D

Also, it's always good to play around at the Dell's home site and save your config to your *cart* phone the EPP Dell Rep and see if they can match and beat the Dell home pricing (they should, anyways)..and what's the best deal they can give you on top of your allotted 7 % discount! ;)

(sorry for my mistyping..I have a keyboard that is nearly broken, awaiting a replacement)....

    Cin ;) :)

Thanks for answering. We've been on her school's site and I know how to get to the discounts there.

I have a feeling that they have not done those discounts for a few years. Those posts were all from 2006 and 2007, and they were for like 30% or more as a one time use.

I also see in check out that there is a spot for a coupon code. I just wondered if there are a lot of opportunities for that or other coupons.

I'll definitely try the phone call before ordering, thanks for the tip.
