This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    But that deal is only valid if you sign up with AOL :(! Otherwise its just regular proce $650.

    That ad is a ripoff. Every sale item has 2-3 rebates of which sometimes you never hear from after you send them in. Don't think it's that easy to cancel aol. I got a free month CD and called to cancel them and a few months later they started billing me. It took the credit card company to settle that score. Not worth the wasted time.
