The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

I'll be reviewing one of these soon if you are interested.

Its a solid value - I believe it uses GDDR3 at 1000 MHz effective speed. That is good for about 32 GB/sec memory bandwidth. Almost 2.5x the memory performance of a 2600 DDR2.

I'd like to see a review on this. I'm actually buying it tomorrow, hopefully it turns out to be good. It'll be my first laptop too.
