This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    CPU prices here look decent...

    I if you are thinking about upgrading your CPU from a Core Duo or slower C2D w/o hardware virtulization I found what looks to be a decent place to buy them.

    From hunting around it looks as if these are pretty low prices. Plus it's for RETAIL BOXED CPU's not OEM open stock parts. Maning the Intel warranty comes with the CPU.

    Beyond price I have no clue about the place. Never ordered from them or even exchanged emails. But at those prices it might be worth the chance. I was floored by the over inflated CPU prices on eBay which led me to http://www.pricewatch.com to research prices and eventually to a Google search.
