    Well, yesterday the unit at Microcenter went from "ships in 1 to 2 days" to "ships in 5 to 7 days, may not be in stock at time of order, no backorders" and today it's been removed from the site altogether. I got an order in before it disappeared, and they called me today to say that Averatec told them there was a manufacturing problem of some kind and that they would fulfill the orders, but not until the end of the month. They said they would honor the rebate, even if it crossed the rebate expiration of June 27. No word on if or when it will reappear on MicroCenter's site.

    So it may or may not be too late for others to capitalize on the $799AR price. Watch the site to see if it reappears, I guess. The sale was set to end on the 26th, if memory serves.
