Reason: removed affiliate code from url - do not do this again or you will be banned

Anyone know what this means? I snagged the url from ebay... not really sure how that could be a violation. Just don't want it to happen again!

    Thanks

It means precisely what it says. Your URL had an affiliate code embedded in it, and it is against forum policy to post such URLs. It is your responsibility to ensure any URL you post does not have affiliate information embedded within it.

Still a bit confused. The epid and hash I would assume? Isn't that just a code used for ebay's inventorying or whatever? I suppose I'll just look for dumps of data in the future, and see if the link works when taking it out. Also, is it just not allowed because it's clutter or is there another reason? The more you know haha :)

    Thanks!

It is safe to remove everything after the item ID from the URL.

    Affiliate marketing is spam.

As to your original question that looks like it may be manufacturer direct, but I've never seen ASUS on eBay like that. You might want to shoot them a message to clear it up.
