I have black one and it is really good for my V2000z. It has two speeds, and lowspeed is essentially inaudible in typical environment and keeps the CPU and HDD less than 40c. So, CPU fan never need to turn on.

BTW this cooler sucks air from the bottom of laptop( does not blow up).

For $10, you can not beat this cooler.

I got this one for my dv4000 a month ago when it was $15 at Staples without rebate and I used a reward coupon to drop it down to below $9 out the door. It works great.

Also for all your Xbox 360 owners out there, the 360 fits perfectly on this and will plug right into any of the USB ports. Just a heads up to anyone who'd be interested!

hmmm... my question is... since this cooler pulls air from the bottom instead of pushing air onto the bottom of the notebook, what does it do to laptops which suck the air from the bottom of the notebook? Cause it seems like the Antec would be competing the laptop for the air and that's a no no...

Which notebooks don't pull air from the bottom of the notebook?

    Any comments?

You can always reverse the fans in the cooler if they are conflicting with your notebook's fans. Of course this will involve taking the cooler apart, but at this price, it would be worth the risk IMHO.

I don't see the point if it just sucks power from the laptop anyways, why not just use the cpu fan?
