    These notebooks are being sold at CompUSA (in store only) sold out for online orders but they are being sold for $899.99

    and of course we all know the specs 2gb of ram 120gb sata hdd, X1400, 15.4" WXGA etc, great deal and once there gone there gone :p

    This notebook is also listed on the Inventory Blowout page which says you can get an additional 10% off. Link

    However, it is unavailable to purchase online right now. It is available at my local store. When I asked about it at the customer service desk, they said they would not give me the 10% off. Should they have?

    Or would they (should they?) honor the Best Buy $100 off coupon as a competitor?

    The link you gave me with the Acer laptop those items arent blowout i know its confusing you have to click that link on the banner advertisement to show you the in-store blowout clearance specials so the 10% wouldnt apply to the acer

    Well, I received a phone call from the manager apologizing and saying they would honor the 10% off.

    But we had already decided to pick up a smaller laptop for my wife, and I took her Acer 5672!

    Got mine over 2 months ago with the x1600 grfx and I am still so very satisfied with it. If this is your budget area, like me, its hard to find a better deal.

    I've called almost a dozen states trying to get one of these from compUSA for college this fall... Anyone willing to buy one for me that knows they are local? I can send money through paypal or make other arrangements.
