I'm pretty sure the 2100 ram isn't even ddr2, its just ddr.

The reason its so expensive is because its both ddr, and ddr2. Obviously this is the only pair of ram in the world that could ever achieve such a feat, thus its high price tag.

That explains everything. I though these kinds of modules wouldn't come out untill 2009(thank you Dell for being ahead of the game) :)

But yeah its expensive(even for server ram) and they even got the specs wrong. :p

Dells says its DDR2 PC2100(technically DDR) 2x2GB while the manufacturers part number(STC3430/4GB) says it 4Gb PC2-3200 DDR2 Ram so :p

It is clear they want to recover all their losses from the 1.5Tb HDD. So best way is to stealthily jack up prices on other accessories. ;)

This has got to be one of those decimal space errors. I remember in the past there was one error where a top of the line XPS sold for 300 dollars or something ridiculous. I rememeber Dell actually bit the bullet and allowed customers to keep their orders (limit 1).
