    basically, its a student/teacher/faculty discount (like apples education discount)

    you sign up - tell them which school you work at/go to - order - some of the app discounts are KILLER - im not sure how they go about verifying your affiliation with the school - but it does say that they may confirm it before your order gets processed...

    They don't confirm it, but they reserve the right to if something's fishy I guess. It's really an awesome discount on the laptops, it makes them comparably priced with Vostro's.

    They never have? Far as I know, the APP and the coupon discounts are two separate programs that cannot be combined.
