Crap...the hi-color option missing was why I wasn't ordering this one before (ordered the XPS 1530 instead). With my Dell delays, this is extremely tempting, as I tried and really liked this puter at BB. What to do...

Cancel the Dell and go for it!

If not, the 1530 will grow on you anyways. Did you go 8600M or integrated?

8600M. I realize the issues with NVIDIA, but I pulled a 4 yr warranty, so they can spend 4 years giving me refurbs for all I care.

I really like the FW, but didn't want to wait that long for the Hi-color, etc. I would have taken this one in a heartbeat had it been available 3 weeks ago. But I got a really good deal on the 1530, though screen space has always been a concern for me as I like to have lots of room to work (hence liking the FW). Was able to get the LED LCD in WXGA+, but that's a little too big for my liking (would have preferred WSXGA+ or higher).

If Dell delays me a couple more days, I think my decision would be made.

I gotta say, the HiColor screen is pretty amazing. Gorgeous picture.
