$40 in mail in rebates....Not that interesting, IMO. I'm happy with my Logitech and Microsoft Wireless (not BT) mice.

That's not how I interpret it. I think the date range is just different for Utah customers.

Read the fine print on the actual rebate form. It's really hard to find any other way to interpret "offer good for Utah stores only"

Your product receipt or invoice must show that you purchased the eligible product between
    June 28, 2007 and July 7, 2007. Offer valid June 27, 2007 through July 6, 2007
    for Utah stores only.

I still think it means that offer is good 6/28 - 7/7 for USA and Puerto Rico (mentioned later in the fine print), except 6/27 - 7/6 for Utah. I don't see Utah mentioned elsewhere in the fine print.

In other words, if you buy on 6/27 you will only qualify for the rebate if from Utah store. If you buy on 7/7, you will only quality for rebate if not from Utah store. From 6/28 - 7/6 it shoudn't matter.

Aka, June 28 - July 7 for everywhere except in Utah where it is June 27 - July 6.

Still weird they would do it like this, never seen a rebate like that.

Yeah, that was my misunderstanding. It's all good. I sent an e-mail to CompUSA and they sent this response:

The rebate in question is valid. It states two different promotion dates. The first set of dates is for any state besides Utah. The second stating "for Utah" is strictly for Utah and has different promotion dates. Please ignore this and submit as normal. We appreciate your business with CompUSA. Have a great day.

    Thank you,
