    zv6000 and WPA2 ??

    hello i have HP zv6000 with newest drivers for bcm4318 from HP site - Version 3.100.65.1. The said that support for 802.11i/WPA2. But i cant take WPA2 - what i have to do to have it ??

    First of all what is your wireless card. That could not support WPA.
    Then What is your router. That to might not be supported by WPA.

    i dont know what is the name of the wirlesscard but i found that their chipset support WPA2. Router is linksys wrt54g which DDwrt v23 firmware with WPA2.

    It's a Broadcom card most likely - that is what most HP's come with, unless it is an Intel card in the Centrino models.

    Is that Linksys's firmware for that. That sounds akward. Try this firmware here

    We will have to start there and see how it goes. Did you try changing the setting by typing your ip address into a browsers bar like you would tpye in a website. This will beyour isp ip address. Then you can access your settings and try doing it that way.
