I have a wrt54g2 configured (mixed) in my office room.

PCs (ibm, toshibas) get a much better signal reception than mac pro (airport extreme minicard) around the house.

Since I work mostly with the mac pro, is there a better configuration to try ?

    Thank you

Just out of interest , will the aluminum construction of some of the Macbbooks block wifi and bluetooth signals , as the Ariel`s are normally in the top of the display for best reception, and the back of the display is solid aluminum , so is reception from the back lower than the front of the display?
