i am running tomato now.. it seems okay .. i have also some experience with wrt as well..

which do you run and why.. it seems with tomato i have a slower connection but better signal strength where most seem to say its the other way around??? i just dont want to flash back and forth to many times and then brick the router??

please let me know what you use and why?? thanks very much

Frankly I can help with comparison because since I've started using DD-WRT I haven't seen any reason to migrate- just updated the firmware.
Have you increased transmit power in DD-WRT? That would help with the coverage.
Anyways- there is a low chance of bricking a router- I've flashed mine many times. So check which suits you.
I like DD-WRT for- increasing transmit power, CPU overclocking (from 200Mhz to 240Mhz :D ), P2P settings and load statistics.
I don't really know how does that compare to tomato so maybe you could write sth on this subject?
