    i was downloading a file and i reached speeds off 3000kb :eek: [3MBytes] per second, i have a cable conection that runs at 8 mega bits so that rounds down to 1000kb [1MByte] per second but just now i got speeds of up to 24 mega bits [3Mega Bytes] :eek: has this happend to any one?

    really depends on how many seeders you have and stuff, and the traffic going on, thats the best time to download stuff trust me, remember times when you got amazing bandwidth

    ya, if you connect to a internet2 site it happens, like schools and stuff i have achieved 2.8MBps or w/e but its rare

    well except for me it was an increase from my normal 100kbps to 350kbps!

    my internet is rated at 1.5 down... yah I normally only get max 100kbps... if I am really luck I used to be able to get 160kbps.

    I wish I could get Comcast's advertised speed... and I used to work for them.

    Problem is, they won't replace the stretch of hardline that got damaged a few years ago a block away, and it's screwing the signal to my whole block.

    I'm the only guy in my neighbourhood with RG-11 and and amp though.
