I posted this in the laptop group, but I think that was the wrong place for it.

    Here's my problem...
Every single time I restart my computer, I lose my wireless connection.

I have an Acer TravelMate 4202WLMi with a Belkin Wireless G router, which is connected to a cable modem. My signals are very strong, that's definitely not the problem.

I have rebooted the modem and the router. I have gone to the Belkin wireless utility setup page and I have tried changing the channels, going back to factory defaults, rebooting from there. Once in a while these things will reconnect me, but it's a random thing. One day, just by logging out of their page, I reconnected, but today that won't work. I just tried downloading some wireless drivers from Acer's support page, but that didn't do anything.

I am so frustrated. I had to reboot today which set this off again. I try to never, ever reboot because this always happens.

    Anyone have any advice??

    Thanks,
    Lisa

Is the wireless app on your notebook set to startup when you turn it on? There should be a setting for it in the wireless app.

I have never like Belkin hardware. To this day I have yet to set one up that worked correctly.
