okay so i know this is like the third post i've made about my problem, but i think i'm getting closer to a solution.

i've been doing tests with my wireless router (netgear cg814wg, my isp is comcast) to see why it can't connect to the internet. i've been getting frequent disconnections on my laptops at home that connect via wireless. the only computer that is reliable is the one that's connected 24/7 to the router with an ethernet cable.

well, today when i got home from work, my laptops couldn't even connect to the router! it'll say "connected but with limited access". the funny thing though is that if I connect those laptops to the router with ethernet cables, i'm instantly connected to the internet! so does it sound like the "wireless capabilities" of my wireless router have gone down the drain? will i have to buy a new router?

Since I haven't read your previous threads on the subject (hint, hint - add to the existing thread so all the info is in one place) I'll ask the standard questions. Have you done a hard reset on the router? Have you updated the firmware? Have you contacted Netgear about the problem? Have you tested your laptops with other wireless routers (friend, work, hotspot, etc)?
