my wired connection says 100 Mbps
wireless G only connects at 54Mbps
but my dsl says im only getting
    Connection Speed:
    • Incoming: 1536 kbps
    • Outgoing: 384 kbps

basicly this shows the wired is always better? or am i not converting and my dsl is slower than 54Mbps so id be fine?

Well the wireless is always slower in the case of wireless vs wired unless you go for 802.11A which is 10Mbps or something liek that.

In other words if you are at full signal you shouldn't have slowdown on your internet connection.

Thats the highest speed your router can go. Thats mainly for file transfers. You only have a little more than 1.5Mbps which is way under 54Mbps (Wireless G). So having wireless on isnt slowing anything down, unless your yards away from it
