How do you setup a wireless peer to peer (ad-hoc) network with one other computer? How do you then share files between the computers? I was able to create an ad-hoc network but I couldn't see the shared files on the other computer. :toshiba:

Do you have a router first of all? Or just sharring between 2 wireless cards?
Try doing the windows setup by Start>Connect To> All Connections> Look over to your left and try both Create a New Connection and Setup home or office network. :)

If you have the intel proset software on either on of the laptops, you can go to the "add" option in the profiles section, and select ad-hoc, and enter the name and password etc. get the other laptop to find for the wireless that you just setted on the first laptop. After that, you will need to go to network places on your notebooks, and "setup wireless network" on both of them.. go through the wizard and you are done!
