Hi guys.. I have a question for you. I want to set up a wireless network at home where two laptops will be connected to an access point. I want th two laptops to see each other. Although it is possible for me to do that the bandwith is limited to 10 mbit by the router. Is there a wireless N device or something that could boost up this network to 100 mb ..?

If both your computers support Wireless N, then A wireless N access point will allow you to boost the network speed between the two laptops. I assume this accesspoint is connected to a router which is connected to the internet?

I'm biased towards anything made by Linksys. Grab one of their N routers and test it out. While I want to say All N routers are made the same, they aren't. Best that you get some real world testing to verify the router's benefits to your network

I don't have their routers, but I do have their PowerLine adapters, which have treated me well. Tell us how it goes.

That is very strange. What brand and model access point do you have?
