    wireless internet really slow

    so i was using my internet at my school library and i notice that it is really so.
    i ask the people around me if their internet is slow and they say that it is really fast. i have full bar but everything loads so slow. i have a t61 with a Intel(R) PRO/Wireless 4965AGN. what is wrong with my wireless? is there something i need configure? help please because this is really frustrating.

    Did you try moving around? Sorry if you did to give such a simple suggestion that you probably did do but sometimes it works for me.

    Is just the wireless connection at the school thats slow, or any that you connect to. Also try to put some distance between you and anything that would cause interference with your connection(cell phones, PDA's, anything that can use wireless connections).

    You could always try Run > cmd > ipconfig /release > ipconfig /renew.

    Sometimes it helps....
