What wireless card do you have in your laptop? What drivers are you using? What routers do you have? What firmware are you using? What error messages do you get? What wireless security are you using (WEP, WPA, WPA2) and what encryption type (AES, TKIP)?

You have to give us more information, other than "it doesn't work".

like I said it is the internal, from the factory... built in wireless nic in Win Vista home premium.
It connects for 2min and the drops signal.....tried it here and on different routers thru-out the area....friend relative, with wep or without.....sent unit to
toshiba...got it back same way.....was hoping a new driver or update fom MS or toshiba would have fixed it by now....
BTW.... I have been repairing and building systems since the days of Dos 5.0

I understand it is the internal card, but what card is it? I don't feel like visiting the Toshiba website and researching what card comes with your particular laptop, so if you would post that information, it would be very helpful. Is it a draft N card, a G card, a combo card? What is the make/model of the card? Also, you didn't post what routers cause these problems. There are a ton of routers and manufacturers, and some don't work well with certain cards.

Have you visited the Toshiba forum on this website? If not, you should consider checking it out, as there may be someone who has had the same problem.
