how i can fix this? the other day i came home and usually it would just connect right away, but then it didnt work, so i plugged a wire in. and right away i was connected. but when i tried to use wireless again. it still is not working.

can anyone help me with this? i am a noob when it comes to this networking and wifi stuff. my current home connection is a motorola sb6120 modem with a netgear WGR614v6 router.
(it works after i reset the router, but after i take the computer to work and i come home, wireless will not work)

    thanks in advance

Are you rebooting your nb between work and home? If not it has the work credentials. Just make it a habit of shutting completely down, and restart when you git home. If wireless issue make sure you have SSID broadcasted on the router then it will auto connect if you have it setup to do so.
