    hi all!

i'm currently using verizon DSL with westel modem and linksys rangeplus WRT110 wireless router combined. in the house, it's hard-wired to an intel desktop and connected wirelessly by 4 other ones.

the router is located on the 1st floor and one of the desktops on the 2nd floor (using N draft wireless adapter) has very poor wireless signal strength. that desktop location cannot be moved around so i have no idea how to get a better wireless signal for it.

my question: is there any way to boost the wireless signal of the WRT110 router? how about using an access-point device? or is there any device out there to bridge the wireless signal to that desktop?

help me please. any idea or advice is very much appreciated.

    thanks

A Range Expander or Access Point should do the trick. I saw this Range Extender on the Linksys website...and seeing that you already own a Linksys Router they should play nicely together. And set up shouldn't be that difficult. Even w/ the Wireless Adapter being draft N the Range Expander would work.
