i'm looking to set up a wireless network soon and i'd like some more information on wireless connection managers. i have a notebook with an atheros card, and from what i've read, there is a connection manager called atheros client utility.

    1. does the atheros client utility support wpa2?
    2. is the tool better than the windows connection manager in terms of ease of use? reliability?
    3. where can i download a version that will work on an lg notebook?

    thank you for your help.

I prefer MS ZeroConfig over mfg software. You normally have less problems in the long run.

what kinds of problems? are there any features that the atheros client utility offers that ms zero config does not? if i decide to use ms zero config, i'd need to install a patch to enable support for wpa2, right?

Sometime software utilites are picky on setting. With MS zero config you just click and provide the information you are done.
