My roomate still uses win 98 with his 700mhz p3 laptop for optimal speed. Unfortunately for him, I am a horrible bastard who insist on using the more secure encryption of WPA over WEP for our wireless net work...

Microsoft has no plans of releasing a WPA update for win98(duh), and the manufactur of his wireless card hasn't update anything since 2003(Although the card is based on realtek's design, I find nothing concerning WPA for win 98 on realtek's site either. And in a few days, the trial for the client I got him will soon be expired...

Are there any good 3rd-party wireless connection clients that can be used with 98 with WPA, that is affordable for your average college student?

I got a life, but it's currently up for auction.
