    to anyone that can help:
I just got a dell inspiron 6000 and have a wireless pc card that inserts just above the hard drive bay. whenenver the card is in it causes my speakers to hummm. Is this interference caused by frequency of the card or is it in some way crosswireing the speaker wires? Has anyone had this problem?
    thanks

not sure why you didnt just get the internal wireless card avaliable.

It could just be interference from the card because it is right next to the speakers and they are not shielded properly.

however, I'd think they shield the speaker correctly but who knows with dell.
