hey all, hoping to get some help here that i haven't found anywhere else.

the problem is, when i have a wired connection on my sager NP9170 i have no connectivity problems whatsoever, though with my Qualcomm killer-n 1202 wireless card, i randomly but constantly have "DNS lookup has failed" errors in chrome and firefox, along with constantly being disconnected from games or lagging out. I've tried google's DNS servers, openDNS's servers, and the default ones on 3 different networks from 3 different ISPs including my school's wifi and my home, and a friend's house. no matter where i'm connected this problem occurs.

other troubleshooting i've tried so far would be reinstalling the drivers with a clean install (making sure myself once, and using qualcomm's cleaner once,) and even a clean re-install of the OS (windows 7 ultimate.) and the problem still comes back. the only thing that temporarily fixes it would be going into control panel/network and sharing center, adapter settings, and it fixes it for a maximum of 10 minutes before the problem repeats itself.

does anyone know what could be causing this or what may fix it? if it could be a physical problem i know how to remove the keyboard and take out and reinstall the wifi card, but I wouldn't know where to look on the card itself for damage.

any help would be GREATLY appreciated. the laptop is only 5 or so months old, and i don't think it should have problems already.

    Thanks in advance.

Have you checked the date & time on your router? Have you tried disabling IPv6? Do you have this problem with the wired connection?

    wired connection is fine.

date and time is normal on router, i've tried with IPV6 and QoS disabled, and i've disabled all battery performance boosting things that would turn it off when idling, still having this issue.

Try rolling back to generic windows drivers. Killer cards have issues with connection dropouts. (just uninstall qualicomm performance suite)
