After setting everything up I decided to update the firmware of my router, and for some reason I got the "Page cannot be displayed" after a little while, and now it's impossible to find the router (I just get a page cannot be displayed/found not sure which) and I've tried hitting the reset button a few times.

    Anyone who has any suggestions?

Ah crap. It's a few years old so doubt it's under RMA. So nothing to do with a corrupted firmware? :(

Try Holding down the reset button then connect the power . Do this for 15 sec, release the reset and see it it clears it.
On some routers the will clear cmos and allow you to reload the firmware.
