basically the Wireless function works .. BUT

it only works if the wireless card is turned on AT THE START .. if you toggle the wireless card off during your windows session and turn it back on .. it wont " kick on " and detect anything ....

you are forced to restart windows with the wireless card on

( i have since found a way to avoid a full restart . i go to DEVICE MANAGER and DISABLE the wireless card and then ENABLE it again .. and it will then start up again )

this is a brand new laptop so there really shouldnt be any software compatability issues from new software being installed bymyself

anyone ever heard of this kind of issue

Are you running the latest drivers?

Is your wireless network fighting with a dozen other access points and getting cross-talk?

You need to give us a lot more info.
