Alright after having trouble getting into my schools network I decided to try uninstalling access connections-thinkpad wireless program

and just use windows program. But Its gone off the notebook. Then the wierd thing is I go into network connections and there is no icons there like

"wireless connections" or whatever should be in there.

Anyways what do I need to download to get the windows wireless managment program back on there.

    Thanks a lot
    Dave

go to the properties of your wireless network connect and ensure that the 2 checkable boxes are checked. i am using a japanese windows but it should say something like "show network connection status on taskbar icons".

Under services (admin tools) you my need to restart up the ZeroConfig. Set to auto then start it up.

    The service idea didn't work.

Everything was already all set with that. Did try restarting and all though.

    as far as this goes

go to the properties of your wireless network connect and ensure that the 2 checkable boxes are checked. i am using a japanese windows but it should say something like "show network connection status on taskbar icons".

I have no properties of wireless network because when I go into network connections there is nothing there....

Need to re-install your wireless card. After it is installed, just remove the mfg utility from the startup folder if you want to use MZC.

Try a system restore, back to the point before you uninstalled the program.
