Unless Dell whitelists wireless adapters in the bios, which it doesn't, you're good to go so yeah. However, you may need to wire a third antenna.

What adapter do you have right now? Wiring a third antenna isn't easy, but the rest of the swap procedure is.

Regardless of the adapter you get, if you replace yours, you'll need to remove the drivers for the old adapter first, do thw hardware swap and install the new drivers.

The Killer wireless N card is actually offered as an option when customizing Alienware laptops. That being said, Dell offers drivers for the Killer wireless card. They actually released a new one not too long ago so that one will probably work fine.

You can get the generic driver (with software) at the killer wireless official site. Maybe there are dell branded killer wireless ~~ who knows.
