I'm having trouble changing my DNS. My Windows is in Danish, so apologies for the somewhat imprecise direction.
When I go right-click network->properties, on the screen I get there where I can see my active connections/networks, the "connections" field is empty. When I go to edit my networkscard settings, simply nothing happens, the window just shows a blank white square.

The thing is, the connection works, I have access to the internet.

In my system tray, the connection looks like a LAN connection even though I'm on wireless.

The problem started after I got the internet connection to the house repaired (rusted cables). When the connection originally broke, it reverted my DNS to that of my ISP.

My own feeble attempts at troubleshooting has yielded no solution.

Do you use a router? If so DNS on your laptop should be router's IP address.

Yes, but the problem is that I can't access my DNS settings.

    Can you post a screenshot?
It's hard to guess since I don't even know what Windows version are we talking about.
BTW your DNS settings should be available under properties IPv4.

Ah yeah I apologise, not too good at providing troubleshooting information yet. I'm using Windows 7 64 bit.

    Screenshot collaboration

I apologise for the Danish language, I hope it's adequate anyway.

Why do you have three active networks? At least that's how it looks like on the screenshot.

One is my wireless, one is my cable and I think the last one is my hamachi.

Disabling them does not allow me to enter the settings either though.
