    wifi booster or accelerator?

    I think a saw some thread about this a while back, but I don't remember. Is there sucha thing?

    I want to be Able to access networks farther away than usually I would be able to find. Such a thing that I can buy??

    Your best bet would be to have a external High Gain Beam antenna.

    Yes of course, there is such a thing as a booster! The function of the booster is to add additional power to the output signal of your WiFi access point or client (pci, USB etc).

    Don't mistake a booster for an antenna. Antennae don't add any additional power, they just shape the output signal in a specific pattern so that performance is better in a particular direction.
