I've noticed that if i stay on the same place for 1 hour the signal is random and it is not standing still even if the laptop and the transmitter are standing still . Why so and how can i make the WI-FI on my laptop work at full power or make it more sensitive ? My resource disk is giving me drivers for atheros AR5B93 wireless network adapter. For transmitter i am using my neighbors so i can't tell what is the name of the device and do not expect me to ask them :D . Thanks for reading this :)

So your stealing your neighbor's internet  lol? As for the wireless adapter, have you tried uninstalling the wireless driver than reinstalling it?

I dont think you can improve the signal anymore. But if you change the position of your laptop so its closer you can get better frequencies. As for why the signal randomly changing, theres nothing you can do about it, the signal is most likely going through a door that opens and closes ( speculation :p )

First i am not stealing it . If you see a 100$ on the floor won't you pick them ? Well this is what i did , i saw free wi fi connection and i connected my self. And thanks for the reply , i thought there is a program in which i can fix the power supply to the antenna or get to the best frequent the transmitter uses so i can sit on it for best signal .( just as in AM/FM radio frequency graph )

The fact that you won't go over and "ask them" means you know you're doing something wrong, which in this case is using the Internet service they pay for without you contributing. That is stealing. Finding a $100 bill on the ground without knowing who it belongs to, is not the same as what you're doing.

If I ever see your [anything you own] lying on the ground, I'm taking it.

FYI, ways to improve the stolen signal exist, but http://forum.notebookreview.com/site-suggestions-help-announcements/109941-forum-rules.html
