I'm a fan of my WRT54GL, but that's because I do stuff like flash it with DD-WRT and then set up a BEFW11S4 on a VLAN connected to the router so I can have unencrypted access to the internet for my Wii/DS/neighbors/friends (especially if they don't have WPA2 support installed under Windows), and they don't get to connect to my personal network and threaten my computers with their crapware. It's a solid router, though. Apparently Buffalo routers do well with the DD-WRT firmware like I use on my WRT54GL, too. I've also had decent experiences with D-Link routers. I'd personally stay away from Netgear, but that's just from being burned once. It doesn't make it a pattern ;)
