That is a rather debatable point of view, i remember downloads did some tests and in real world performance, the difference just wasn't there tu justify a higher price tag on either card. The 6300 is Intel's best offering and you can't go wrong with either choices. My advice would be to get whichever of the two is cheaper at the moment.

Note that if you do not have a third antenna, you'll have to wire a third one to truly take advantage of those cards.

Yeah but of the multiple comparisons of the two that I've read, the Killer seems to come out ahead on the majority of the tests. Now the difference may not be very big, I'm not sure, but they both come out well.

I'm sure his computer would be already have the thrid antenna installed. Mine had it to my surprise and it was built in 2009.

Intel's top-of-the-range is the Intel Ultimate-N 6300. Wheter it is the best, it all depends on your needs. The truth of the matter is, few people actually have any use for the Ultimate-N 6300 throughput.

Well, you'll be able to use Intel WiDi if you have compatible gear as a bonus.

Pretty much the 6300N is the best staple Wi-Fi card you get right now for tri-antenna.

I believe the 1103 is better than the 6300, but either of them are the easily the best cards. Apart from the latency, there's not that much difference, really.

The 6300 is like the most cheapest 3x3 450mbps card as well.

It is a shame the newer Intel Wifi cards only works with Intel chipset.

Atheros drivers for the Killer-N series seems to hinder its so-called latency advantage in my opinion. I like Intel for their stability in the drivers aspect. Good hardware with bad drivers isn't going to make them benefit vs. not as good hardware but with awesome drivers.

That's not what the tests say. Either that or I can't read the charts properly.

Would $19.97 shipped from HongKong be a good price for a 6300? Does it matter that it says for IBM only?
