    hey guys im going to get the dell xps m1530 but it says "no modem". Can some1 plz tell me what that means and what it wont allow me to do. Thanks.

    It Mean they no 56 K Modem mean you won,nt be able use dail up internet

    It mean high speed only via ethernet or wireless

    you need to add modem usb if you want to dail up

    No..."no modem" means no physical modem installed. Why would you think drivers are involved...

    You also lose fax capability. I use my modem to send and receive faxes on the go. Just wanted you to have all the facts :D
